Five-star point Ashton Hagans has done something no other top-tier recruit has done since ESPN started their recruiting rankings in 2007. He has committed to in-state school Georgia.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound point guard out of Covington also had offers from UConn, Florida, Kansas, North Carolina and Oklahoma State among others. He’s ranked as the No. 11 player overall in the class of 2019, the top recruit in the state and the No. 2 player at his position according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
