Mykhailiuk shot a shade under 40 percent from the three-point last season while averaging 9.8 points, 1.3 assists and three rebounds per game. He will likely play more than about 27 minutes a game this season as the team will need a shooter to replace Frank Mason and Josh Jackson.

The 6’8″ Ukrainian sharpshooter should become one of the leaders on the team since he will be a senior along with Devonte’ Graham. The two are hoping to make it 14 consecutive Big 12 titles in 2017-18 with the help of newly-eligible transfer Malik Newman and the return of big man Udoka Azubuike from his injury he suffered in the middle of last season.
