Duke has had the worst luck this year already when it comes to injuries. The Blue Devils have lost Harry Giles for an extended period of time for his third knee surgery and lost forward Jayson Tatum to a mild foot injury.
Now, the team will have to deal with an injury to another five-star freshman in center Marques Bolden.
That leaves senior Amile Jefferson, freshman Javin DeLaurier, sophomore center Antonio Vrankovic and transfer Sean Obi to shore up the paint and take the places of those guys. Duke’s first game is Friday against Marist at home with a game the next night against Grand Canyon.
