Five-star forward Nassir Little giving surprising school one of his official visits

Looks like this school could be on the rise.

Nassir Little's recruitment has blown up this spring and summer because of his excellent play on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit. He earned a fifth star in Scout's recruiting data bank and has been hearing a lot more from the blue blood programs like Kansas, Duke, UNC, Arizona and UCLA. However, none of those schools are going to be the one to get his first official visit.

He told Scout that Georgia Tech will earn that right as the two parties have had an excellent relationship and coach Josh Pastner and his staff have been on him early.

"I have a visit to Georgia Tech set for August 26. I have a really good relationship with the coaches, so I want to take an official visit there and see the campus and see how I would fit in to the program."

The Orlando, Fla. native plays for Orlando Christian Prep and Showtime Hoops on the AAU circuit. The 6'6", 200-pound small forward is ranked as the No. 5 player at his position and No. 22 player overall in the class of 2018 by Scout. He also holds offers from in-state Florida, Miami and Florida State as well as Louisville, Notre Dame and USC among others.

Here are some of his highlights:
