Game of the night: VCU escapes St. Louis

With only one ranked game on the slate, it was a no-brainer as to who would get the nod for the game of the night and it didn't disappoint with a 63-61 score. No. 16 VCU went to St. Louis to take on the Bilikens and it was a tight one all night. It was all knotted up at 34 at halftime and the first half certainly came with it's fair share of highlight plays.

It might have been all VCU in the second half, but SLU's efforts didn't go unnoticed near the end when they almost came away with a victory.

Biliken big man Milik Yarbrough had a big putback with about four minutes left in the game:

SLU made a free throw, but it would be this drive by VCU's Treveon Graham that sealed the deal and staved off the upset:
