Memphis is losing out on the excellent brother duo of K.J. and Dedric Lawson with their decision to transfer and it seems they are a package deal. It’s also looking like one school has already secured their services for the 2018-19 season.

The two brothers combined to average 31.5 points, 18 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game. Dedric is a sophomore while K.J. is a freshman so both will have to sit out a year per NCAA transfer rules. This transfer will give the Jayhawks life after Dwight Coleby leaves and will give big man Mitch Lightfoot some help in a year. They could also serve as potential Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk replacements down the road when he graduates after this coming season.
