Rick Pitino says one tiny school had the best crowd he's ever faced

Come on coach.

College basketball coaches almost always give credit to the opponent's home crowd when they play away. Louisville's Rick Pitino might have gone way too far though after his team survived at Grand Canyon University 79-70. You would think that a guy with as much experience as him would have seen some better crowds than whatever the small college could offer, but he would have you thinking otherwise:

Is he serious? Just because his team played a bad defensive game and escaped with a win the crowd is all of a sudden world beaters? Come on Pitino. You're better than that.
