Rising Final Four contender lands highly coveted grad transfer

What a huge pickup!

Egor Koulechov was the hottest name left on the transfer market and the competition for him was believed to be down to two schools in Florida and Oklahoma. He told ESPN that he has officially made his decision.

The 6'5" shooting guard is a great rebounder at his position and can clearly shoot, which should help a Florida team that loses an efficient three-point shooter in senior Justin Leon and Devin Robinson who just turned pro. This team is looking like a heavy favorite now to go deep into March and possibly play the first weekend of April with former Virginia Tech wing man Jalen Hudson now eligible to play as well with the return of Chris Chiozza, KeVaughn Allen, Kevarius Hayes and other important pieces that saw good minutes.
