UPDATE: SCSU head coach Murray Garvin also gave this scary update on what happened at the game to his senior:

A terrifying scene unfolded in North Carolina State’s game against South Carolina State when SCSU senior Tyvoris Solomon suddenly collapsed on the bench. Stephen Wiseman of the Herald Sun has the description of what happened.

Fortunately, it appears he is conscious and responsive:

He was taken to a hospital and fortunately has been stabilized:

The game resumed after a 10-minute warmup period for both teams, but not until after the court was cleared and the medical emergency was handled. Garvin going with his player to the hospital sends a pretty clear message here that health and the safety of his players is more important than trying to get a win and that was absolutely the right move to make.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Solomon and his family at this time.
