Top 10 high school junior makes shocking commitment to this A-10 school

This came out of nowhere.

Carte'are Gordon is the No. 9 recruit in the class of 2018 and he had plenty of offers from some of the bigger schools like Texas, Kentucky and Kansas. However, he chose to go to a much smaller school and surprise everyone with his commitment.

Gordon is a 6'8", 255-pound forward out of Saint Louis, Missouri which might explain why he chose the Bilikens. However, he also had offers from Notre Dame, SMU, Illinois, Oklahoma State, USC and St. John's.

Playing for MOKAN Elite on the Nike EYBL circuit, Gordon averaged 10.5 points and 6.2 rebounds while shooting about 60 percent from the field. This was all while playing behind Michael Porter Jr. who is committed to Washington.
