Vanderbilt lost on what will go down as one of the worst plays in NCAA tournament history

This is so disappointing.

Oh, you gotta feel bad for this poor kid.

Nine-seed Vanderbilt made a go-ahead bucket over 8-seed Northwestern with just seconds remaining on the clock when the unthinkable happened: Vanderbilt's Matthew Fisher-Davis committed the intentional foul despite his Commodores already having the lead.

Northwestern went on to make the free throws, earning their first ever tournament win. While the Wildcats are probably happy with their win, even they probably didn't want to see it come on something like that.

Just awful.
