Amway Coaches Poll Week 4: LSU falls hard after loss to Mississippi State

Sorry Coach O, can't call a timeout here.

The newest edition of the Amway Coaches Poll is out, and LSU was clearly the biggest loser after a 37-7 defeat at the hands of Mississippi State.

LSU dropped 12 spots in the rankings from 11 to 23, and even that might be generous after getting manhandled by Dan Mullen's team. Mississippi State jumped to 19 in the rankings, which might actually be low considering the big victory. Should they really be below teams like Miami, Auburn, and South Florida at this point?

Other notable things: Clemson closed on Alabama's lead on the No. 1 spot by stealing a few first place votes, but that was all they got for their big win over Louisville. Louisville remained ranked, falling to 20th.
