6'6" DT recruit Jayden Peevy is heading to the SEC with this commitment

We have a decision for this recruit!

The SEC picked up another giant recruit on Friday, as three-star defensive tackle Jayden Peevy (6-foot-6, 279 pounds, Bellaire, TX) announced his commitment to Texas A&M.

Peevy picked Texas A&M over Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Houston. He was formerly committed to Baylor, but he decommitted back in May after the firing of head coach Art Briles.

Peevy is definitely an interesting recruit thanks to his size. His highlight tapes look great, but there is a point where he is just dominating because he is the biggest guy on the field. That won't be the case in college, and it will be interesting to see how he adjusts when he likely beefs up 20 or 30 pounds.

Still, his 6-foot-6 frame gives him a lot of potential, so A&M should be more than happy with the pickup here. The Aggies now have 18 recruits for the 2017 class. Peevy and three-star DE Tyree Johnson, who also committed on Friday, boosted A&M up to the No. 12 class in the nation.
