Xavier Thomas is ESPN's top ranked recruit in the class of 2018 and he's already made his commitment to Clemson early in the recruiting process. While that's great news for the Tigers, that also means they'll have plenty of other schools trying to flip him and steal him away up to the moment he signs with Clemson.

However, the 6'3", 269-pound monster allayed those fears with a simple tweet:
Thomas is expected to be an early enrollee in January so that's why he mentioned the December date rather than the normal February signing day. Clemson now has two of the top players in the country with Thomas and top-ranked QB Trevor Lawrence in tow.
