Clemson player at the center of groping controversy has intriguing NFL preference

That seems like an oddly fitting preference.

Ben Boulware is definitely one of the more charismatic and thoughtful players entering the NFL Draft this year. What he may lack in size and height, he makes up for in intelligence and football savvy. However, some people have also labeled him as "dirty" and that might be one reason why he thinks he would fit in well with one particular NFL franchise.

He was caught on tape against Ohio State groping a player and the Raiders have been known as a "nasty" and "dirty" franchise when Al Davis was running it. So it's curious that Boulware should suggest the Raiders as a preferable landing spot for him. Granted, the Raiders are a good team and will be for years to come with Derek Carr as the quarterback, but that's probably not what he meant when he said "traditions" in his quote.

The Raiders could grab him late in the draft or potentially as an undrafted free agent. He is currently mocked to on the third day of the NFL Draft or even go undrafted altogether. His 6'0", 235-pound frame scares people at inside linebacker as it's not quite big enough, but he is still a pretty great playmaker.
