Former Clemson standout transfers to team he believes can compete for a national title

They are ranked in ESPN's way-too-early top 10.

Former Clemson defensive back and graduate transfer Adrian Baker is headed to play his final college football season at Oklahoma State, per ESPN.

"I think they have an opportunity to compete for a national championship," said Baker, who will join the Cowboys after he finishes the semester at Clemson next month. "I'm hoping I can come in there and help."

He missed the entire 2016 season with a torn ACL. Baker last played in 2015 for Clemson, starting three games with two interceptions.

Oklahoma State is ranked No. 10 in ESPN's way-too-early top 25.
