College football's two longest home winning streaks could end this weekend

That would be some history.

Two of the longest home winning streaks are on the line this weekend and both streaks belong to ACC teams. Florida State currently has the longest home winning streak followed by Clemson with both playing a couple of tough opponents this weekend.

The Tar Heels are fifth in the conference in points per game averaging 41.3 and are averaging 334 passing yards. FSU is dead last in scoring defense allowing 35 points a game, but UNC is equally bad on rush defense allowing about 240 yards per game on the ground. Something will have to give as Dalvin Cook is primed to keep his strong running going from the USF game and FSU's defense will need to play better if it wants to keep the streak going.

Louisville obviously has game-changer Lamar Jackson and Clemson has its own in Deshaun Watson so something will have to give there and this game might come down to whoever gets the ball last. Both offenses are explosive and so this will come down to whoever can get a stop on defense against one two of the most dynamic dual-threat quarterbacks in the country.
