ACC names its Defensive Player of the Year and it should shock no one

That seems right.

Florida State senior defensive lineman DeMarcus Walker has been destroying offensive lines all season and after the regular season he has finished with 15 sacks on the year. That's tied for the most in the nation with Boston College's Harold Landry.

FSU already had Deondre Francoise earn some accolades from the ACC this year so it's only right that Walker get in on the action. The Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association named Walker their conference Defensive Player of the Year for his sack total and for his 63 total tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and one blocked kick.
