Four-star recruit may have leaked his plans to flip from Florida State

This could be bad news for the Seminoles.

It's been a tough day for Florida State.

The Seminoles lost a commitment from four-star wide receiver Marquez Ezzard on Saturday morning and possibly an additional prospect.

Four-star cornerback Houston Griffith tweeted a photo of himself wearing a Notre Dame jersey with the caption "Committed to the Irish," which has since been deleted.

The tweet could mean that Griffith, who committed to FSU last month, has potentially flipped to the Fighting Irish. Of course, it also could have been some sort of mistake, as several recruits have graphics for multiple schools, and sometimes friends play the wrong pranks when they get a hold of someone else's phone.

Griffith has yet to comment since the tweet went up.

The Bradenton, Florida native ranks as the No. 10 cornerback, No. 12 player from the state of Florida and the No. 60 overall prospect for the 2018 national recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Griffith visited both Florida State and Notre Dame this season, which included making his commitment to the Seminoles during his trip to Tallahassee.

The senior received offers from 37 schools including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma Tennessee, and USC.
