FSU receiver reportedly facing five felonies and has been indefinitely suspended

This is horrific.

Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher announced on Friday that junior receiver Da'Vante Phillips has been suspended from the team indeffinitely.

The suspension is likely stemming from five felonies that Phillips is reportedly facing as described by Jim Henry from the Tallahassee Democrat.

The junior from Miami was expected to be a serious contributor in the receiving corps after appearing in 19 games previously and only recording five catches. It seems that dream may not come to fruition if these felony charges become more than that.

Phillips had been participating in preseason practices for FSU before the suspension.
