Jimbo Fisher's comments on Texas A&M opening should concern FSU fans

Florida State fans might be getting a bit nervous.

Florida State Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher recently appeared on the Jeff Cameron Show in Tallahassee and was asked to comment on the rumors regarding the open Texas A&M job.

Fisher's response may not sit well with Seminoles fans this week:

Although Fisher didn't directly say that he was taking the job, it could have been very easy for him to deny the rumors and say he isn't taking the job. Instead, his decision to dodge the question by not answering one way or the other will surely create some more buzz this week as the Seminoles head into their final game of the regular season against Louisiana-Monroe.

Reports have surfaced in recent days indicating Fisher has a "handshake agreement" to become the next head coach at Texas A&M. Fisher has been linked to other vacancies over the years as well but has always maintained a stance of not commenting on those jobs so he is consistent with his latest non-answer on the Jeff Cameron Show.

Despite a down season this year at Florida State, Fisher's name has still been thrown around with the various head coaching jobs in college football. Even though the Seminoles are just 5-6 this season, school president John Thrasher recently said Fisher will remain at the school for as long as he wants to.

The Seminoles will wrap up the regular season on Saturday against Louisiana-Monroe and will be looking to pick up their sixth win of the season and stay bowl eligible for a 36th consecutive season.
