247Sports reported Miami was able to convince Samuel to take a visit there this weekend. Apparently, Miami hadn't been making a good effort in Samuel's eyes, but did some last minute work to get him to Coral Gables according to 247:

Samuel Jr. said that he spoke with multiple Miami coaches during the week as they all tried to talk him into visiting Coral Gables. The efforts apparently paid off for the Hurricanes.
