One school is investigating their own fans after they were caught appearing to spit at refs on video

That's just some bad behavior.

North Carolina State fans were understandably upset after their team failed to beat Clemson at home. They lost 38-31 after holding a 21-17 halftime lead. At the end of the game, the fans took their disdain for the refs to a new level though as they yelled at them and one person even seems to spit on the refs as they run through the tunnel:

There was a pretty big (and correct) call at the end of the game that negated a huge fourth down conversion for the Wolfpack and on the second try, quarterback Ryan Finley threw an interception that essentially ended the game.

University police issued the following statement Monday:

"The NC State University Police Department is seeking information about an incident which occurred at the November 4, 2017 home football game at Carter-Finley Stadium. If anyone has information about the identities of persons shown in the video who are throwing objects at the referees as they departed the playing surface, please call the NC State University Police Department by calling 919-515-3000. Thank you for your assistance."

That doesn't sound good and it's never a good look when a school has to ask about information like this about its own fans. Just an ugly look all the way around.
