One of the top remaining JUCO recruits for the 2017 class has made a decision.

Four-star linebacker Gary Johnson decommitted from Alabaam back around Halloween, and it looks like he has found a new school. On Friday, Johnson announced a new commitment to Texas.

Per 247Sports, Johnson is the No. 1 JUCO linebacker of the 2017 class and the No. 6 JUCO player overall.

This is a significant pickup for Texas, as Johnson is now one of their highest-rated commits. Texas now has 15 commits for their 2017 recruiting class, three of which are early enrollees.
