Three teams take big leaps in newest Amway Coaches Poll

Some teams are definitely peaking at the right time.

The coaches aren't the Playoff committee, but they definitely show some changing opinions on some of the top teams in the nation.

No. 9 Colorado, No. 10 Oklahoma State, and No. 12 USC all took significant leaps in this week's Coaches Poll, with USC taking the biggest one by jumping seven spots. The Trojans had their big win last week against then No. 4 Washington, but it looks like a big win at UCLA proved to the committee that the win over the Huskies was no fluke.

Colorado jumping from 12 to No. 9 is important, as the Buffs are now legitimate Playoff contenders. They have a game left with Utah, and then likely with Washington to close the season in the Pac-12 title game. Win both of those games, and Colorado has just as impressive of a resume as a team like Penn State.
