This contraption Baylor's Seth Russell is wearing after neck surgery does not look like fun

Baylor quarterback Seth Russell is on the mend after undergoing surgery Friday to repair a fractured bone in his neck.

Russell led the Bears to a No. 2 national ranking, but will miss the rest of the 2015 season while he recovers.

As tragic as that is, the junior certainly looks like he's handling it well — as well as you could expect someone to after having surgery and having to wear that thing.

The neck brace he's sporting looks ridiculously uncomfortable.

Baylor fan or not, you have to root for the guy.
