Baylor is reportedly making a delusional jersey choice for game vs. TCU

Baylor plays TCU on Saturday, and they may be making an interesting jersey choice.

This probably isn't a smart idea.

Today's Baylor game against TCU was originally supposed to be a green-out, but it looks like the fans and the football team are taking a different stance than what was originally planned. After a fan-led campaign for a blackout to protest the firing of Art Briles, it looks like the football team is joining that protest and will be wearing black uniforms on Saturday.

Wide receiver Chris Platt has since deleted his tweet, but it looks like the team will be going through with the blackout. Platt later tried to clarify that the decision had nothing to do with Briles.

Briles was fired over the offseason after a sexual assault scandal that rocked the campus. Several assaults linked to the football team were allegedly reported in an improper manner, which may have resulted in a cover-up of the assaults. While Briles was fired, several assistants stayed with the the program, and it is clear that several players are also still upset over the firing of their former head coach.

It will be interesting to see how this one plays out for Baylor, but this isn't the best look for the team after all of the allegations.
