Kansas loses key big man ahead of major tilt with Kentucky

This is definitely not good news.

Kansas is going to need all the big man help it can get when it plays Kentucky on Saturday as the Wildcats boast a pretty big lineup. They have several players over 6'9" they can switch in at any moment and some of them can even shoot from outside. Knowing that, this blow to the Jayhawks roster will definitely be felt on Saturday.

There were some people who thought it might be related to a December incident where he was charged with a misdemeanor —- the charge was later dropped —- but the school has made it clear that is not the reason for the suspension:

Bragg was averaging 6.1 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in 15 minutes per game before the suspension. Kansas will have to look to Mitch Lightfoot and possibly forward transfer Dwight Coleby to help spell Landen Lucas, Josh Jackson and Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk.
