Paul Finebaum is fed up with “disgusting and despicable” Baylor and the Big 12.

Finebaum was on ESPN earlier this week to discuss the Baylor scandal, and the venerable college football veteran took a hardline stance by bashing the Baylor program at every opportunity.

“I don’t know when I’ve ever seen a program as disgusting and despicable as this one,” Finebaum said. “It’s a total disgrace. This school, the culture around this program. This program has no moral compass, it has no common decency. You know the school is going to do nothing, the Board of Regents is tone deaf to everything that we’ve seen about this school in the previous few years.”

Finebaum went even further, saying that the Big 12 and commissioner Bob Bowlsby should suspend the remainder of Baylor’s season.

“I think it’s incumbent on the Big 12, I think it’s incumbent on Bob Bowlsby — the Big 12 commissioner — to immediately suspend the rest of the season… If he doesn’t I believe the Big 12 is complicit in everything that has transpired and continues to transpire.”

Baylor was involved in what has been a continuing sexual assault scandal on campus. The unreported and misreported assaults by athletes and football players cost former head coach Art Briles his job, and the campus remains under intense scrutiny as more and more developments continue to pop up from the scandal.

The NCAA has already declined to sanction Baylor, but is it now the Big 12’s turn to act?
