Texas loses out on yet another local talent with four-star ATH Jaqualyn Crawford's commitment

Tom Herman can't like that.

Four-star athlete Jaqualyn Crawford had recently cut his list down to just four schools of Oklahoma, Texas, TCU and Texas A&M. However, none of the Texas schools seemed to have a chance as the Rockdale native is headed out of state to Oklahoma.

Here's an excerpt from his long message on Twitter:

"The recruiting process was crazy but I enjoyed every second of it. I wouldn't change anything about it. But the longer I was recruited one school started to stand out. That school was the University of Oklahoma. It felt like home and I believe Coach Riley will do big things there, and I want to be a part of it. So with that being said I AM COMMITTED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA!"

The 5'10", 161-pound athlete plays for his high school in every facet of the game as a returner, receiver and cornerback. He is projected to play receiver for the Sooners and is ranked as the No. 5 athlete in the class of 2018 as well as No. 13 recruit in the state of Texas according to 247Sports' own rankings.

Crawford also had offers from Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Notre Dame and Oklahoma State among several others.
