After naming initial finalists, four-star WR Jordan Whittington adds a couple to his list

One of the top junior football prospects has narrowed down his college choices to six teams.

Four-star wide receiver Jordan Whittington has narrowed down his college choices to six teams and is apparently "very close" to making his decision.

Whittington shared a photo of himself with the logos and uniform pieces of six teams — Florida, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M and UCLA — which he listed as his remaining choices.

Whittington had previously narrowed down his choices to four teams — Florida, Texas, Texas A&M and UCLA, but has since added the Buckeyes and Sooners to his list of remaining schools in consideration.

The 6-foot-1, 198-pound junior ranks as the No. 7 wide receiver, No. 5 player from the state of Texas and No. 26 overall prospect for the 2019 national recruiting cycle, according to 247Sports' Composite rankings.
