Former Michigan offensive lineman David Dawson is headed out of his second school in five months. The graduate transfer originally left Michigan to attend Iowa State, but it seems that he is not quite satisfied there either. It's been confirmed to the Des Moines Register that Dawson is no longer with the Cyclones.

In a text to the Register, head coach Matt Campbell stated that it's "[b]etter it happens now than during the season." The coach also indicated that the decision has been a couple of weeks in the making. Dawson would have been available to play immediately for ISU since he was a grad transfer, but his future remains unclear as of now.
Dawson was a four-star recruit in the class of 2013 and was rated as the No. 4 guard in the country. He was also the No. 2 player at any position in the state of Michigan and the No. 95 player overall on 247Sports.com's composite board.
