Justin Watkins is the nation’s top athlete according to 247Sports and the N0. 9 recruit in the state of Florida. The Ocala native has over 20 offers from schools including LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Clemson among others. He had been committed to Florida State since last summer, but it looks like the 2018 athlete has had another chance of mind.

He took a visit to Austin for the weekend and it sounds like he’s fallen in love with the school as he told 247Sports:
“The reason I’m choosing Texas is because the way they will be using me in their offense. From slot wide receiver to running back. The H guy is very important to their offense. I want to be that guy that stands out. I feel like this will be the school that would make me stand out the most. The coaches here are great. They all take the time to actually understand their kids and care for them.”
Watkins was also committed to LSU back in 2015 before flipping to FSU so you might expect another flip could be in the books before it’s all said and done. The 247Sports crystal ball has him sticking with Texas at 75 percent while FSU got 17 percent of the predictions and LSU with eight percent.
