One conference had the worst National Signing Day and it wasn't close

That is a sad day.

This year's National Signing Day had its ups and downs with surprise commitments, a few flips and plenty of SEC dominance. However, there was one conference that disappointed everyone and managed not to land a single five-star recruit.

According to ESPN's rankings, there were 15 recruits listed as five-stars and none of them landed on a Big 12 squad. The highest rated player to go to a Big 12 school was Justin Broiles who went to Oklahoma and is ranked No. 46 overall by ESPN.

The SEC had seven of the five-star recruits and Florida State had three on its own while the Pac-12 had another three and Ohio State had two for the Big Ten.
