AP writer predicts Tom Herman's biggest win of his Texas tenure to date

Will Herman make it come true?

Associated Press writer Ralph Russo went through and predicted each top 25 game of the weekend with not a whole to do about the games. However, there was one game he's calling his upset special and it could be the biggest win of Tom Herman's tenure at Texas so far as they host No. 10 Oklahoma State. Here's what he said about the game:

No. 10 Oklahoma State (minus 6) at Texas

Longhorns have been close against USC and Oklahoma. Charlie Strong had a lot of close calls, too ...TEXAS 38-31, UPSET SPECIAL.

So not only are the Cowboys a 6-point against Texas in Austin, but Russo believes that the Longhorns will outright win the game. Herman and his Longhorns are 3-3 so far this season with an embarrassing home opening loss to Maryland, but have beaten Iowa State. They played USC close with a 27-24 loss and almost took the game against Oklahoma with a 29-24 loss.

Should Herman pull off the upset, it would easily be the biggest one of his tenure at Texas and could give the Longhorns some much needed momentum on the field and off it.
