ESPN analyst says former Florida head coach Jim McElwain could land another another job

That seems quick.

Florida is in the midst of their coaching search, but there are other schools doing the same thing right now. In fact, former Florida coach Jim McElwain could be in the running for one of those openings. ESPN's Adam Rittenberg believes that if Nebraska misses out on their dream candidate in Scott Frost, then McElwain could emerge as a choice.

He said, "McElwain might end up in Lincoln, although it's fair to wonder if he could handle the spotlight there."

Frost would definitely be the first choice for the Cornhuskers as he was the quarterback that led them to their last national title in 1997 and it would be the perfect story of the prodigal son returning to bring back the school's former glory. However, they would have to convince him to leave UCF who he has built into a powerhouse in the AAC. They are 9-0 this year after going winless the season before he got there.

Rittenberg also added Bret Bielema, Wyoming's Craig Bohl and Washington State's Mike Leach as potential candidates to replace Mike Riley who is likely not coming back next season.
