One of the top blue bloods released its non-conference schedule and its pretty soft

Some real cupcake scheduling going on.

Duke already knew it would be playing Michigan State in its non-conference schedule since the Big Ten/ACC Challenge released its schedule. But now fans know who else the Blue Devils will face outside of the ACC and they should expect to see quite a few wins.

The schedule includes the likes of Elon, Utah Valley, Southern University, Furman, Portland State, South Dakota, St. Francis and Evansville. There is the one tough game against Michigan State —- who will be one of the top five teams all year —- and some big name games against the likes of St. John's, Indiana and Butler or Texas.

However, SJU has not been that great the past few years under Chris Mullin and Indiana is likely to need an adjustment period under new coach Archie Miller. Butler also has a first-year head coach while Texas might be a good team with No. 3 overall recruit Mo Bamba on the team now. But don't expect more than two losses heading into ACC play for the Blue Devils this year.
