ESPN goes bold, predicts one conference to place two teams in Playoff

Well this would be a bit of an upset.

A lot of people think it is possible for the Big Ten to get two teams into the College Football Playoff thanks to how certain scenarios play out in that conference.

ESPN's Brett McMurphy is NOT one of those people.

In ESPN's latest bowl projections, McMurphy has a bit of a surprise by projecting Clemson and Louisville to make college football's final four. While it seems a bit unlikely, as Louisville essentially can't get into the ACC title game at this point, is still is possible; the two teams currently rank Nos. 4 and 5 in the latest Playoff rankings, and many people are still high on the Cardinals despite the loss earlier in the season.

No conference has placed two teams in the Playoff so far, but with the ACC and Big Ten lurking, it is certainly a possibility in 2016.
