Five-star forward Simi Shittu details schools going after him hardest

He's got some powerhouses coming after him.

Simisola Shittu is one of the top rated players in the class of 2018 and therefore one of the most sought after ones as well. The 6'10", 225-pound forward out of Canada was phenomenal on the Nike EYBL circuit averaging 20.1 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.4 blocks per game for team CIA Bounce.

He spoke to 247Sports about his recruitment and who is contacting him the most and the most consistently. He said that Louisville, UCLA, Notre Dame, Michigan, Maryland, Duke and Oregon are regularly in contact with him. One of his former teammates in Jordan Nwora is going to Louisville so he does have a bit of a connection there, but did mention that Oregon has had the Canadian pipeline recently.

He is currently playing for the Vermont Academy after transferring from the powerhouse high school of Montverde. He regularly faces teams with multiple Division-I athletes on it and has been destroying them all. His recruitment should be a fun one as it's not clear who leads for him and he has offers from Memphis, Syracuse, Texas, Washington and Pittsburgh among others.
