Four-star TE/DE hybrid Jayson Oweh names three major programs as his top choices

These schools seem to make sense.

Four-star tight end and defensive end combo recruit Jayson Oweh just took a visit to Notre Dame this weekend and was a part of the Irish Invasion camp. It was his first time on campus and that seemed to be enough to catapult the Fighting Irish into his top three list. He told 247Sports that the Irish, Penn State and Ohio State are his top three schools right now.

The 6'5", 236-pound hybrid monster made his way up to South Bend with his dad and spoke about what he liked about the camp.

"It was a great experience," he said. "I really learned about the history of Notre Dame and the perks there are of playing for them. Just doing the camp on the actual game field was cool because you can sort of envision yourself playing there."

Oweh is ranked as the No. 10 strong side defensive end in the country by 247Sports's own rankings and the No. 8 recruit in the state of New Jersey. There are 11 predictions in the 247Sports crystal ball for him and all of them belong to Penn State right now. He also holds offers from Georgia, Navy, Maryland, Pittsburgh and Syracuse among others.

Here's some of his highlights:
