Michigan steals away an assistant from one of their former coaches

Another win for Jim Harbaugh.

Jim Harbaugh will never stop recruiting, and this time, his efforts have landed him a valued assistant coach.

According to Football Scoop, former Arizona recruiting coordinator Matt Dudek is expected to join Harbaugh at Michigan in the same capacity. Dudek had been serving in his role at Arizona under former Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez.

Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports confirmed the hiring.

Dudek had been on the staffs at Pitt and Rutgers prior to joining Rodriguez at Arizona. He now gets to join Harbaugh at a recruiting powerhouse, and he will have to get to work quickly in order to keep up with the quality of recruiting that Harbaugh has been up to lately.

Michigan ranked fifth last year in recruiting.
