For all we know, it might not have matter, but Michigan and head coach Jim Harbaugh will be kicking themselves after this enormous mistake on the final play against Iowa.

As Iowa was lining up for the game-winning field goal, Michigan lined up… with only 10 men on the field.

Seriously, count ’em up.

The worst part? According to Reddit, Michigan only had 10 guys on the field both before and after the timeout they took to ice the kicker. Apparently no one on the sideline noticed it in all of that time.

Could an extra guy could have help with a block attempt? Absolutely. It also could have meant nothing, but not getting 11 guys on the field for the final play of the game could be something that will haunt Michigan for the rest of the season.
