Ohio State defender ejected after one of the biggest hits of the season

At some point, the NCAA is going to need to figure out definable targeting hits, not just hits that look painful. 

Ohio State's Denzel Ward laid the boom Saturday afternoon against Maryland, laying out Taivon Jacobs with an absolutely devastating hit.

After further review, officials deemed the hit as targeting, despite Ward not launching himself and the hit looking completely clean with arms extended into Jacobs' chest.
