Infamous Penn State kicker Joey Julius reportedly no longer with the team

Oh no...

This is kind of sad.

According to Bob Flounders of Penn Live, kicker Joey Julius is no longer with the Penn State football team. Julius has had public issues with his health in the past year, but it is currently unclear if the two things are directly related.

Julius proved to be very effective on kickoffs last year, scoring touchbacks on nearly 50-percent of his kicks. At 5-foot-11 and 260-pounds, Julius really gained a reputation last year of being a hard tackler on kickoffs that were in play, so much so that he became a target by opposing teams.

Julius announced earlier this year that he had entered a treatment center to deal with an eating disorder.
