CBS analyst thinks these two Power 5 coaches have the hottest seat in 2017

This is more than fair.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish went 4-8 in 2017, while the Texas A&M Aggies have continued to fizzle out after tremendously hot starts, so it's no surprise that Brian Kelly and Kevin Sumlin might be on the hot seat for their universities' heading into 2017.

CBS Sports' Dennis Dodd takes it a step further in a recent piece suggesting both Sumlin and Kelly have the hottest seats heading into 2017.

Dodd ranks the top five coaches on the hot seat heading into 2017, but gives the Sumlin and Kelly the biggest score in his rankings.

For Kelly, the poor campaign in 2017, along with changing coordinators on both sides of the ball this offseason, and his awkward feud with former quarterback DeShone Kizer, definitely puts him on the hot seat. Dodd points out, too, though, that the Fighting Irish are doing big-time stadium renovation that are on the way.

For Sumlin, he hasn't fallen off like Kelly, and, even with his his poor finishes in recent years he's been very successful at Texas A&M. Still, the Aggies have a gigantic stadium and SEC Expectations now, and if he flounders down the stretch again you could definitely see him be forced out after the season.

The rest of the list includes Arizona's Rich Rodriguez, Arizona State's Todd Graham and Texas Tech's Kliff Kingsburry.
