Oklahoma's backup QB said a crazy thing and Cardale Jones is the latest to pile on the youngster.

It's been a rough week for Austin Kendall and it just got worse.

The backup quarterback of the Oklahoma Sooners made some aggressive (to put it mildly) comments about Ohio State's defense in advance of Saturday's monster showdown, and people have been piling on him from the moment his words hit the internet. Now, former Ohio State quarterback and Twitter legend Cardale Jones has joined the party in blasting Kendall, saying the following:

Jones, who is now a member of the Buffalo Bills, joined Kirk Herbstreit and other members of the OSU family in teeing off on Kendall, and the youngster simply could not have seen this coming. On one hand, Kendall almost certainly must hope that he does not have to play in this game, but on the other, Baker Mayfield hasn't been the most durable player and Ohio State's defense would certainly like to go after Kendall within the white lines.

After Saturday, it is a safe bet to assume that most folks around the country will forget Austin Kendall's name until he actually touches the field. Ohio State players and fans, though, will not be among that crew, and this particular gaffe could become legendary if the Buckeyes dominate in Norman.
