CBS analyst calls one school's RB position the best class in America

It's hard to argue with this assessment.

National Signing Day is only two weeks away, and CBS analyst Barton Simmons said Florida State has the top running back class in the country for 2017.

Simmons put the Seminoles in the top spot mostly in part to having a commitment from new No. 1 running back Cam Akers.

Simmons said Akers is the "heir apparent" to Dalvin Cook in running back, but the Seminoles also have a commitment from five-star back Khalan Laborn from Virginia. Simmons said Akers and Laborn will be an instant 1-2 punch.

The absence of Cook will be hard to account for, but it seems like Jimbo Fisher has things under control for the future at Florida State.
