Five-star ILB Dax Hollifield spoke in-depth with Rivals about where he’s at in his recruitment, and the No. 5 linebacker in his class opened up in a big way.

Hollifield talk a lot about all five of the big-time programs he’s still considering that include: Stanford Cardinal, Virginia Tech Hokies, North Carolina Tar Heels, South Carolina Gamecocks, and the Florida State Seminoles.

According to Rivals, the leaders as of now are Stanford, Florida State and the Hokies.

Via Rivals:

“Hollifield is making a lot of progress planning out the rest of his recruitment. As of now, the key players here are Stanford, Florida State, and Virginia Tech but all five schools will likely get official visits and that could change everything. “

Each school provides something different that intrigues Hollifield, and he’d be a good fit at each program, especially with the way the Cardinal and Hokies play on defense. At Florida State, it may be be more difficult for the talented linebacker to see the field early in his collegiate career.

Hollifield is the No. 103 player overall in the class of 2018.
