ESPN analyst's Top 4 has two glaring omissions following Week 6 of the season

Uh oh...

ESPN college football analyst Booger McFarland has a Top 4 right now, and to little surprise, Clemson and Alabama are the teams at the top of his list.

What may come as a surprise, though, is which teams come next. On Tuesday night, McFarland unveiled that he would have Georgia and TCU as the final two teams in his Top 4 right now, completely snubbing both the Pac-12 and the Big Ten.

McFarland did offer some explanation why he left out teams like Washington and Penn State from his Top 4. McFarland still thinks Washington has "a lot to prove", while his criticism of Penn State is that they only have "one nice win and some shaky performances".

One thing McFarland did not mention, though, is how the Georgia/Alabama situation will figure itself out. If the two teams continue dominating like they have for most of the season, then the two should match up in the SEC Championship Game. Would a 12-1 team with their only loss in that game still be able to get into to the College Football Playoff over Washington and Penn State?

I guess we will have to wait and see.
