Former five-star OT to transfer from LSU

He played in all 11 games in 2016.

The transfer season has been fierce over the past few weeks, and it's something that powerhouses definitely aren't immune to.

On Tuesday, offensive tackle and former five-star recruit Chidi Okeke announced that he would be transferring from LSU.

Okeke played in all 11 of LSU's regular season games this year, but primarily as a backup. The 6-foot-6 lineman was rated the No. 2 tackle by 247Sports back in 2015, where LSU ranked as the No. 6 class in the nation. That class also included now star running back Derrius Guice.

Where Okeke could end up is interesting, as he originally chose LSU over Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia back in 2015. It is possible that LSU tries to restrict his transfer to SEC schools, but Okeke could also go and spend a year at a JUCO to circumvent any sort of recruiting restrictions.
